CHOC BANANA PROTEIN PORRIDGE

How to make
Add oats, water and salt to a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a gentle simmer.
Add milk and stir constantly for 6-7 minutes or until oats have thickened and cooked through.
Remove from heat and stir through protein powder, cocoa, maple syrup, vanilla and mashed banana.
Serve topped with sliced banana and a dusting of cocoa.
Ingredients
3⁄4 cup (75g) rolled oats (or brown rice flakes or quinoa flakes if gluten free)
1 1⁄2 cups (375ml) water
pinch of salt
1⁄2 cup (125ml) milk, reduced fat (or dairy-free alternative)
1⁄4 cup (30g) vanilla protein powder (or natural protein powder)
1 tbs cocoa powder (or cacao powder) plus extra for dusting
2 tsp maple syrup (honey or rice malt syrup)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 medium banana half mashed & half sliced
