RICOTTA & FRUIT TOAST

How to make

  • Mix ricotta and protein powder until smooth, adding a little water if too thick. 

  • Toast bread and spread with ricotta mixture.

  • Top with pear, drizzle with honey and scatter over walnuts to serve.

Ingredients

  • 1⁄2 cup (120g) fresh ricotta

  • 3 tbs (30g) vanilla protein powder (or natural protein powder)

  • 2 thin (40g) slices wholegrain bread (or gluten free)

  • 1⁄2 green pear thinly sliced

  • 2 tsp honey (rice malt syrup or maple syrup)

  • 1 1⁄2 tbs walnuts roasted & roughly chopped
